The Lean Healthcare Green Belt program develops an understanding of Lean and how it is applied across a variety of health settings. In addition to understanding the core Lean concepts, tools and practices, participants will gain the capability and skills to facilitate improvement initiatives. The program has been custom built for the entire health sector, including real world examples and health sector case studies and is typically completed in 13 weeks.
Participants can achieve an immediate return on investment and benefit through a workplace improvement project requirement.
Completion provides 35 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours and entitles certified Canadian College of Health Leaders members (CHE / Fellow) to 10 Category II credits towards their maintenance of certification requirement.
Full online mentoring support for participants is provided throughout the program.
Assessment and Certification
Participants are assessed based on completing a multiple choice examination online (50%) and submission of a work-based improvement project (50%).
