Description

This course explains the five principles fundamental to Lean: value, value stream, flow, pull, and perfection. It discusses the value creation process with the help of examples and a case study. It explores the concepts of value‐added and non value‐added, or waste, by providing examples of how employee activities can be viewed through the lens of the customer or patient. The eight types of waste are defined and described.
