Description
Participants on the program will develop an in-depth understanding of those essential Lean tools and practices that can be applied to increase efficiency and quality of service; improve access to services; increase capacity; decrease/avoid costs; improve satisfaction among staff and community and create an ongoing culture of continuous improvement.
The program will provide specific examples, case studies and scenarios that demonstrate how Lean tools and practices are applied to enable improvement within municipalities. Participants will develop the capability and skills to successfully lead improvement initiatives.
Assessment is based on the completion of a work based improvement project and an online exam.
It is delivered online through 10 live instructor-led sessions:
- May 28 and 30, 2024
- June 4 and 6, 2024
- June 11 and 13, 2024
- June 18 and 20, 2024
- June 25 and 27, 2024
