This course introduces Total Productive Maintenance, or TPM, as a practical approach to improving equipment reliability, reducing losses, strengthening operator ownership, and supporting continuous improvement. TPM is not just a maintenance program, it is a team-based system for keeping equipment stable, visible, reliable, and safe, and it connects directly to Lean because reliable equipment makes flow, quality, and standard work possible.

Objectives

- Respond to a TPM case study by selecting appropriate next steps, tools, measures, and responsibilities.
